Is this not the very best looking white boxer anyone has ever seen? Obviously a newbie to the blogging world- but only as the author. I love to read them, so I thought I might put something out there as well.

I enjoy browsing all the Delicious knitting tags and other knitting websites that there is little time left to write. I am thinking there should be some kind of knitter's site that you could enter a needle size and yarn particulars and click search to view a variety of pattern options for those that have an unbelievable amount of yarn and various needles, yet never seem to have the right yarn for the million or so projects in the coveted collection of amazing project books and magazines. I know the problem is that impulse shoppers buy that great yarn on sale or because it is gorgeous and can't live without it. Yet- when you finally get around to using a skein....there is no more at the store or you have no pattern to play with.

What about designing? Is there software out there that would allow you to "draw" something up and experiment with stitches and patterns BEFORE you knit the item?????
Probably too optimistic and not enough math...

gettin techy

After a full day of living, I'm still here. Librarians and tech junkies are exploring blogs, RSS feeds, IM, and various personality issues here in Arkansas. We are giddy and wild, like the childern we teach. How will we ever keep up with blogs when the paperwork abounds, children run amok, and discipline is amiss? I admire those who spend a few moments each day puring out their little hearts.
Wait, I do have words to share. I love knitting. I have knit some: hats, gauntlets, of course scarves, a bag, working on a backpack and ready to felt anytime now.
I am reading kid lit for work and librarian text books for schooling. FOr fun I am reading nadda at this moment.
